- ONE GRANT BEING UTILIZED BY THE NR DEPARTMENT IS THE EPA PUGET SOUND RESEARCH AND MONITORING 'ADMIRALTY INLET AND HOOD CANAL NEARSHORE HABITAT ASSESSMENT,' AKA THE KELP MONITORING PROJECT. WE ARE ALSO USING THE PACIFIC COASTAL SALMON RECOVERY FUNDING FOR THE HOOD CANAL BRIDGE PROJECT.

SHANE HAS MADE SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS AND IS BECOMING PROFICIENT IN ANALYZING THE BLUE VIEW DATA THAT IS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE HOOD CANAL BRIDGE ECOSYSTEM ASSESSMENT PROJECT.
