Haʔnəŋ Cn Shout Outs header

Greetings PGST Staff! Welcome to April Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Outs!

Morale and recognition in the workplace is FUNdamental. Thank you for using this form to recognize an employee for a specific act or having the kind of positive attitude that improves our workplace.

The goal is to provide a space for PGST Employees to Empower each other. It takes all of us to run this Government.

Ok let’s see who we’re talking about for MAY!!!

The first Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Out will go to someone in CFS (Child & Family Services). Star Hagen!! Star works for PGST as the Tribe’s Kinship Caregiver Program Coordinator. Hey Star! This is what a fellow co-worker as to say about you:

Star is always willing to stop what she is doing to help anyone who may come to her door; if you have a question, she will do her best to help you find an answer. She also is willing to help her co-workers with any task that may be needed; her insights and ideas are always valuable. Star has an outstanding work ethic and dedication.

Who will get the next Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Out? For the next one we will head over to the Human Resources department. This is for the entire HR team! Hey HR! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

Just wanted to say thank you to our amazing team for completing my tasks while I was out for recovery. I appreciate the heck out of you all!

Next we will be headed over to the Elder’s Center and give a Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Out to Elaine Fulton! Elaine works for PGST as the Elders Cook/Activities Coordinator. Hey Elaine! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

Elaine was a great help to me during the elder's honoring on top of doing her regular job of feeding all of our elders she put her apron back on after hours and cooked turkeys, made salads, and then helped serve, she was really a great help i am so happy that she is an employee of the tribe that has a big heart and a helpful hand. Thank you Elaine!

Alright!! Who are we going to talk about next?!! This one talks about ALL DEPARTMENTS!!

I just wanted to let everyone that helped out with the Elders Honoring know that I appreciate all the help, the Elders Honoring was a big success thanks to everyone the helped out, thank you all. I hope I didn’t forget anyone if I did, I’m sorry.

Where to next? Let’s head over to the Health Services Department and give a Shout-Out to Alissa Fulton! Alissa works with PGST as one of the Tribe’s Massage Therapists. Hey Alissa! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

When I go for a massage, Alissa always greets me with a smile and makes me feel welcome.  I recognize that doing several massages a day, five days a week must be physically exhausting, and she never makes me feel like she is too tired to give me her best.  I feel like massage clients in general allow themselves to be in a vulnerable position and maybe can feel awkward.  I feel like Alissa goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of, and I appreciate her.

Wow! We have some really amazing people! Next let’s head over to the Tribal Center and give a Shout-Out to Kat Perry!! Kat works for the Tribe as the Front Desk Coordinator. Hey Kat! This is what a fellow co-worker has so say about you:

Kat is amazing with everyone she encounters. She always is looking for ways to help out and goes above and beyond to meet everyone's needs. She is a self-starter and always takes initiative to help make processes better as well as she always has a smile on her face and is an absolute pleasure to be around. We're lucky to have her.

Let’s keep the good vibes goin’!! Now we’re headed over to PGST’s Housing Authority and give a Shout-Out to Katarina Krieger! Kat works for PGST as the Tribe’s Housing Resident Services Specialist. Hey Kat!! This is what a fellow employee has to say about you:

She is very helpful and thorough when it comes to helping with confusing paperwork, agreements, etc. She always has a positive attitude, great communication and an overall exceptional employee! 😊

Our last but certainly not least, we will head over to the Health Services Department and give a Shout-Out to Melanie Winnette!! Melanie works for the Tribe as an Accounts Receivable Clerk for Health Services. Hey Melanie! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

Melanie has completed a lot of training enhancing her knowledge in tribal finance so that she can be an even greater resource to the Department. She is always willing to jump right in and assist wherever is needed with a positive attitude. We appreciate her desire to learn and grow and her dedication to the department!
