HE WILL BE COMPLETING BIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS, CONDUCTING SURVEYS, AND PROTECTING LISTED SPECIES AND HABITATS FOR THE NR DEPARTMENT. WELCOME, MIKE!

THEY HELD A HUNTERS SAFETY CLASS FOR YOUTH AND A BUCK SKIN TANNING CLASS. RICHARD COLLABORATED WITH THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT AND THE GREATER PENINSULA CONVERVANCY AND DID A SALMON LAB TO TEACH CULTURE, SENSE OF PLACE, AND TRADITIONAL ECOLOGY KNOWLEDGE OF LAND AND STREAMS TO YOUTH.
- WE'D LIKE TO GIVE A SHOUTOUT TO ISSAC PURSER WHO ASSISTED WITH GETTING SEAFOOD AND WOOD FOR THE CANOE JOURNEY HOSTING EVENT.

STUDENTS LEARNED A LOT ABOUT THE ELWHA DAM REMOVAL AND THE ECOSYSTEM. THEY GOT TO GO ON A HIKE AND TAKE A CANOE OUT AROUND THE LAKE.
