Greetings PGST Staff! Welcome to April Haʔ nəŋ Shout-Outs!

Morale and recognition in the workplace is FUNdamental. Thank you for using this form to recognize an employee for a specific act or having the kind of positive attitude that improves our workplace.

The goal is to provide a space for PGST Employees to Empower each other. It takes all of us to run this Government.

Without further ado, let’s get these Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Outs rollin’!!

Our first Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Out will go to an employee in the Health Services Department for Emily Arnesen! Emily is the Tribe’s Suicide Prevention Coordinator. Hey Emily! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

"Shout out to Emily Arnesen, a dedicated professional in Prevention at Health Services! Emily's diligence and organizational skills shine brightly as she orchestrates complex trainings for staff, seamlessly incorporating outside guests. Not only does she excel in her role, but she also goes above and beyond, staying for community dinner events following her demanding work. Emily's innovative mindset is evident in her efforts to find new ways for staff to integrate workflows, ultimately enhancing patient care and streamlining reporting processes. Your commitment to excellence is truly inspiring, Emily! Keep up the fantastic work!"

Who gets the next Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Out? Let’s head over to the Child and Family Services Department (CFS) and give Sonya Crocker-Redbird a Shout-Out!! Sonya is a Family Assistance Representative for PGST. Hey Sonya!! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

"I have been using the food bank lately and Sonya is always so helpful and thorough when getting supplies! She always has a smile on her face and is very informative 😊  She also always make's sure to ask and check that I have every type of supplies I need! I appreciate her so much!"

 

Now let’s head over the Human Resources Department and give a Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Out to Jennifer Wright Tom! Jennifer is the HR Administrative Assistant II for PGST. Hey Jennifer!! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

"Jennifer learned that a project needed to be completed ASAP and she stepped up to make it happen. She even worked between personal appointments to ensure it kept moving forward. We appreciate her efforts!"

Looks like we’re staying in Human Resources for this next one!! This Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Out goes to Melody Bidtah and Malissa Purser. Melody is PGST’s HR Manager and Malissa works as PGST’s HR Benefits Coordinator. Hey Melody and Malissa!! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

"Malissa and Melody filled in for a meeting when their coworker couldn't make it unexpectedly. they did so without hesitation. They approached the task with a good attitude and are great teammates."

 

Where to next you say? Let’s head on over the Career & Education Department and give a Haʔ nəŋ Cn Shout-Out to Tito Cox! Tito works for PGST as the Career & Education Administrative Assistant. Hey Tito! This is what a fellow co-worker has to say about you:

"I just want to take a moment to recognize the incredible work that Tito has been doing. He is truly an asset to our department and is instrumental in helping things run smoothly. Tito's organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple tasks at once are simply outstanding. The dedication they have shown in incorporating traditional S'Klallam teachings into the curriculum is truly remarkable, and the impact it has had on our young learners is immeasurable."

"Their commitment to providing a hands-on and immersive learning experience that promotes a deep understanding and appreciation for the S'Klallam culture and the natural world is truly inspiring. It is evident that they have put a great deal of time and effort into creating a program that is not only educational but also engaging and fun for the children."

"I am grateful for their hard work, dedication, and passion for outdoor education. Thank you for all that you do to enrich the lives of our students and promote a deep connection to S'Klallam culture and the natural world."
